 REWARD OFFERED FOR DRUG SUSPECT IDENTIFICATION IN CARY

CARY, NC – Cary Police are urging anyone who has information on the identity of John Doe 1, a suspect charged with conspiracy to traffic in marijuana following a police chase on Wednesday, December 21, to contact Cary Crime Stoppers at (919) 226-CRIME or Cary Police at (919) 469-4017. Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information related to this crime.  All calls related to this crime will be kept CONFIDENTIAL at caller's request.

The suspect has been refusing to cooperate with authorities for nearly a week.

“We are confident that someone knows this individual,” said Captain Dave Wulff.

John Doe 1 and a second suspect, John Doe 2, were apprehended following a Cary Police drug operation that led to a chase into the Wake County and Holly Springs jurisdictions.  Through fingerprinting, police identified John Doe 2 as Gary Courtney Fitzgerald, 38, of 300 Ashewyck Commons Court , Apt. G in Fuquay-Varina.

The maximum penalty for conspiracy to traffic in marijuana is four to 25 months in prison.

CARY POLICE IDENTIFY ONE DRUG SUSPECT AND SEEK HELP

IN IDENTIFYING REMAINING SUSPECT

CARY, NC – Cary Police have released the identity of one of the suspects charged with conspiracy to traffic in marijuana following a police chase on Wednesday, December 21 in the Wake County jurisdiction.  Through fingerprinting, police identified John Doe 2 as Gary Courtney Fitzgerald, 38, of 300 Ashewyck Commons Court , Apt. G in Fuquay-Varina.

The remaining suspect, temporarily identified as John Doe 1, is still refusing to cooperate with authorities.  Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is urged to contact Cary Crime Stoppers at (919) 226-CRIME or Cary Police at (919) 469-4017. Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information related to this crime.

Prior to the apprehension of the two suspects on Wednesday, Cary Police were working a drug case that led to a chase into the Wake County and Holly Springs jurisdictions.

CARY POLICE MAKE DRUG ARRESTS AND SEEK HELP IN IDENTIFYING SUSPECTS

CARY, NC –Cary Police arrested and charged two drug suspects with one count each of conspiracy to traffic in marijuana today following a police chase in the Wake County jurisdiction.  The two suspects, who are temporarily identified as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2, are currently in the Wake County Public Safety Center and are refusing to cooperate with authorities.  Anyone with information on the identities of the two suspects is urged to contact Cary Crime Stoppers at (919) 226-CRIME or Cary Police at (919) 469-4017. Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for additional information related to this crime.
