SUSPECTS SOUGHT IN STRING OF
CARY
BURGLARIES
The suspects are believed to have burglarized at least
12 other Cary businesses, including Dollar General, Brooklyn Boy’s Pizzeria,
Book Smart, Womack Electric Supply Company, Cookies in Bloom, Grace by
Consignment, Cary General, Harmony Mediterranean Market, Vertical Urge, Flame
Kissed Beads, Gymboree, and Maximillian’s Grill & Wine Bar.
In each of the burglaries, the thieves have used a rock-like object to
break out the front door and enter the business.
The suspects have stolen cash, hardware, cookies and jewelry.
To
deter criminals, police suggest keeping all entrances well-lit, especially front
entrances. Also,
business owners should avoid keeping cash on premises after business hours, if
possible. Finally, it’s always a
good idea to make sure that all property is properly secured.
