CONDITIONS IMPROVE IN CARY;

CREWS STAND READY OVERNIGHT

  

CARY, NC – With morning snow giving way to afternoon sun, Town of Cary A‑Teams focused efforts on the southeastern part of Cary, which was hardest hit by the holiday storm.  Crews spent the afternoon plowing slush from the roadways and sanding and salting hills, including but not limited to parts of Cary Parkway, Tryon Road, and on/off ramps to US 1/64.

 

Members of the A-Team will be on call overnight to hit any slick spots identified by emergency workers. 

 

ACCIDENTS

There have been 15 storm-related traffic accidents reported in Cary since 7 a.m. today, none serious. 

 

OPENINGS & CLOSINGS

Town of Cary administrative offices will remain closed tomorrow and yard waste will not be collected, both as planned for the Christmas holiday.
