Northbound traffic traveling along the realigned section of Walnut Street will be transferred over onto the northbound lanes of the new roadway, and motorists traveling north along Holly Springs Road will have the option to utilize the reconnection to the Holly Springs spur. Work to accomplish this shift will begin about 9 a.m. Thursday, June 27. This traffic shift will allow work to be completed on the lanes adjacent to the median section of Walnut Street. This traffic pattern will be in effect for the next four to six weeks while final paving and marking is completed. Motorists should expect delays through this intersection and plan their commutes accordingly.
