Get ready for the Independence Day festivities with an annual event that is tasty and fun for all! Enjoy a favorite summer treat, ice cream sundaes, while being entertained by the wonderful day camp children. Registration deadline: June 28th - use course code 10545 and register on-line or mail in a registration form. This free event is open to senior citizens, age 55 & older. Carolina Arts Festival: "Broadway Rocks for the Arts"
Wednesday, July 3, 6:30 p.m.
Amphitheatre at Regency Park
The Town of Cary hosts "Broadway Rocks for the Arts," featuring Broadway stars Terrence Mann, Lauren Kennedy, Deborah Gibson, Alice Ripley, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin-Vega. Popular national recording artists, The Connells, will open. Get tickets at the Amphitheatre box office or all Ticketmaster outlets. Adult tickets are $15-$25. Students half price. Kids under 12 free. Buddy passes available at Town of Cary locations. No coolers or backpacks permitted. Bond Park Lakefront
Come join us for an old fashioned celebration of our nation’s birth. The day begins with a parent/child fishing tournament, followed by a whole host of games and competitions. Sportsmanship Games

Bond Park athletic fields

Sportsmanship games feature players, selected by their peers and coaches, who have shown a winning attitude during the playing season. These games focus on the youth sports philosophy and seek to promote and reward sportsmanship in participants and coaches. All participants in the sportsmanship games receive an award for being selected. Throughout the day raffles will be held at each of the fields giving spectators the opportunity to be involved in the excitement. July 4th Celebration at Regency Park

The day of celebration builds up to the Town of Cary's annual festivities which include the Cary Town Band will performance at 5:30 p.m., followed by the North Carolina Symphony's patriotic concert at 7:30 p.m. As the last note fades, the evening culminates at 9:15 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display over Symphony Lake. . Patrons may begin their celebrations starting at noon on July 4, at the Carolina Arts Festival, which includes arts organization booths, local entertainment and more. This event is free and open to the public. Picnic baskets are permitted, but an array of food and beverages are available on-site. Following national security recommendations for large public gatherings, all items brought through the Amphitheatre gates, including blankets, chairs, coolers and purses, are subject to search. Hey kids, (age 5-12), join us for an afternoon with SpongeBob, Squidward, Patrick and Sandy Cheeks! We'll eat some Krabby Patties, blow some bubbles and create your own SpongeBob SquarePants to take home. Lots of fun games and activities for you to enjoy. A light lunch will also be served. Fee per person: $10 Cary resident, $15 nonresident. This event is full, but you can be added to the waitlist by the regular registration process - use course code 10569 and register on-line or mail in a registration form.
