Culturas Unidas Community Festival Rain date: Saturday, May 25 The festival will feature a flea market, soccer exhibition, raffles, food, entertainment and activities for children. Admission is $1 for adults, children 12 and under are free. This is a fundraising event and proceeds will be used to provide scholarships for student programs at ECMS. People of all cultures are invited to participate. Volunteers are also needed to help in all sorts of ways - setup and take down booths, take money at the gate, help distribute raffle prizes. Organizers are also seeking vendors and entertainers for the event. Neighbors and children are invited to set-up a booth to sell their household items. Culturas Unidas Community Festival Información básica en Español (Basic Information in Spanish) Culturas Unidas Festival de la Comunidad Sábado, Mayo 18, 2002 Hora: 9 a 3 de la tarde Lugar: Cancha de Futbol de la Escuela East Cary Middle, 1111 SE Maynard Rd. (entre Cary Towne Blvd. y Chatham St) Culturas Unidas y East Cary Middle School tendrán su primer festival de la comunidad. El festival incluirá una "pulga" (Mercado ambulante), rifas, comida, entretenimiento y actividades para los niños. Este es un evento para recaudar fondos y crear becas que ayuden a los estudiantes de la escuela que forman parte del grupo de inglés como segundo idioma. Invitamos a la comunidad a participar como exhibidores de productos o servicios, vendedores, artistas y como voluntarios.
