Cary Fire and Police are investigating a suspicious object located at Cary Parkway and Skipwyth Circle. State Bureau of Investigation has been called to the scene. Cary Parkway is closed from Heathmoor Lane to Westover Hills Drive. Traffic is being detoured.

This section of Cary Parkway could be closed for several hours. Commuters are advised to expect delays in the area and to choose alternate routes if possible.
