Two New Art Exhibits Open This Week in Cary
Page-Walker Arts & History Center
"Let Freedom Ring," an exhibition featuring works by diverse
artists, will have an opening reception 7-9 p.m., Saturday, January 12 at the
Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary. Curated by
BGroup Contemporary Art & Design, the exhibition features works by Javier
Alarcon, Ceasar Hunt, Clina Polloni, Lorenzo Smith, and Deborah Younglao.
"Let Freedom Ring" is part of the Dreamfest 2002 activities
celebrating the life and works of Dr. King. The exhibition is co-sponsored by
the MLK, Jr. Task Force of Cary and Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural
Resources. "Let Freedom Ring" will be open from January 10- February
27 during regular public hours at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center. For

Jordan Hall Arts Center
"Images Inspired by Irish Country Side", an exhibition featuring
works by Helen Seebold and Erin Lawler, will have an opening reception 2-4 p.m.,
Sunday, January 13 at Jordan Hall Arts Center. This exhibition features
photography, ceramics, acrylics and ink with watercolor inspired by the artists'
trip to Ireland last spring and will be open from January 8 - 30 during regular
