CARY POLICE SEARCH FOR A MAN BELIEVED
TO BE INVOLVED IN TWO ARMED ROBBERIES
CARY, NC – Cary Police are looking for a suspect in last night’s armed robbery at Space Savers located at 1227 Kildaire Farm Road. The incident took place at 6:37 PM. This suspect is also wanted for a robbery at Play It Again Sports located at 446 Crossroads Blvd on March 17, 2001 at 8:43 PM.
In the both cases, a white male entered the store and looked around the store for customers. He then approached the counter and asked the clerk to do a favor for him, open the register and put all the money in a bag. The suspect then escaped on foot. In both cases, the suspect showed a handgun.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40-45 years old, 6’3"-6’4", 240-250 lbs. He has a full light brown beard and mustache. The suspect was last seen wearing a tan Panama Jack type hat, tan tinted sunglasses, a long sleeve camouflage shirt, light blue jeans, and brown boat or deck type shoes. The suspect had what appeared to be a nose cast on his nose in both cases.
Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of those responsible for these crimes.
