"RESIDENTIAL SAFETY DAYS" OFFERED AT AREA APARTMENT COMPLEXES

CARY, NC – The Cary Fire and Police Departments and Cary EMS are joining forces with Leierzapf Agency, Nationwide Insurance Company in offering a "Residential Safety Day" for residents of Hyde Park Apartments on August 11 from 12 – 1:30 PM. This is the fourth in a series of Residential Safety Days this summer; Oxford Square Apartments, Waterford Forest, and Harrison Grande have already participated in safety days of their own. The initiative is designed as an informational forum in which renters can interact with Cary Public Safety agencies and learn how to protect themselves from the dangers of fire, crime and accidental injury. Insurance industry representatives are also on hand to educate citizens on renter’s insurance to protect personal belongings and cover liability should an incident occur.

Refreshments are served and drawings are conducted for various give away items including a gift certificate, and fire extinguisher. All local apartment complexes are encouraged to participate by scheduling a Safety Day for their residents by calling Adena Williams or Cheryl Bloomer of the Leierzapf Agency at 677-1110.
