CARY PROMOTES SAFETY FOR HALLOWEEN
CARY, NC – Positive messages and actions highlight Cary’s efforts in
dealing with Halloween. First, get your family ready for treats, not tricks,
by coming by the Cary Police Service Center this Sunday, October 28th
for Halloween safety tips and a free Halloween trick-or-treat bag. Each
brightly-colored bag contains a police coloring book and a junior police badge
sticker. Visit with officers and collect your goodies from noon until 6:00 PM at
the Cary Police Service Center located inside Cary Towne Center.
Then, make plans to attend the Town of Cary’s annual Safe-N-Sane Halloween Celebration, also at Cary Towne Center, on Wednesday, October 31 beginning at 5:30 PM. "Gina the Good Witch" will tell "Not so scary" stories near JC Penney at 5:30 PM, and trick-or-treating at participating stores and the Pumpkin Weight Guess Contest begin at 6:00 PM. At 6:30, there will be A "Lil Bit of Magic" show with Michael Creech, followed by the costume contest finals beginning at 7:00 PM.
