PSA—CARY’S WEEKEND-LONG CELEBRATION
OF THE ENVIRONMENT

 

Make plans now to participate in the Town of Cary’s free four-day, hands-on educational celebration of our environment, April 19-22, 2001. Focus includes:

  • April 19th--Arbor Day: talk to a tree and appreciate its value in this world;
  • April 20th--"Clean Your Files Day!" Increase recycling within your business by cleaning out your files and recycling the resulting paper;
  • April 21st--Cary’s Spring Litter Sweep followed by Storm Drain Stenciling, 8:00 AM-Noon at Town Operations Center; registration necessary; lunch provided;
  • April 22nd Earth Day Celebration; 1:00 PM-4:30 PM at Bond Park to include tree plantings and pruning, composting, rainwater harvesting, nature walks, and information booths.
