CALL FOR DIRECTORS
Applause! Cary Youth Theater is seeking a director for its spring 2001 production. The performance will be presented in the Sertoma Amphitheatre in Bond Park during the weekend of May 12 -13. Auditions will be held March 5 - 9 and rehearsals will begin March 19. Please send a resume, sample rehearsal schedule, and a tentative budget along with your choice of play/production to Scotty Elliot, PO Box 8005, Cary, NC 27512-8005. Proposals will be accepted through February 9. This is a paid position. Director and show will be announced the week of February 19.
Now, in its second year, Applause! Cary Youth Theatre provides two full productions a year (fall and spring) in addition to a wide variety of classes and workshops. These theatrical activities are designed to give young theatre enthusiasts both an introduction to the creative world of theatre and drama, and also allow more advanced students a chance to develop their skills and appreciation of theatre.
