CARY TO PRODUCE SUMMER WATER CONSERVATION CAMPAIGN COMMERCIALS ON SUNDAY

Two Cary teenagers and a dog are replacing Johnny Gauge and the Tuna Can in the Town of Cary’s annual summer water conservation campaign. This year’s TV commercials will begin running in early May on local network morning news programs, and print advertisements will appear in the News & Observer as well as local papers in Cary, Apex, and Morrisville. These same ads will appear in local movie theaters as well as on area fast food trays and atop pizza delivery boxes.

Tease what you’ll be showing next month by meeting this year’s conservation spokeswomen (and dog) as the Town shoots the summer’s TV commercials and print ad photographs from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM this Sunday per the following schedule.

6:30 AM Town Council Chambers

7:30 AM Page-Walker Art & History Center/railroad tracks

9:30 AM 310 Versailles Drive (MacGregor West Subdivision)

2:00 PM Cary High School football field (Maynard Rd., near Walnut)

4:00 PM Buffalo Bowling Lanes (High House/Old Apex roads)

6:30 PM North Cary Water Reclamation Facility (Old Reedy Creek Rd)

7:30 PM "Gateway to Cary" sculpture in front of SAS (N. Harrison Ave/I-40)
