Cary Police Seek Help in 10 Month Old Robbery Cases NR

CARY POLICE SEEK HELP IN 10 MONTH OLD ROBBERY CASES

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary’s Police Department is asking for your help in identifying a man linked to three armed robberies that occurred during the late and early morning hours of December 5th and 6th of last year.

ROBBERY 1: Homewood Suites Hotel at 100 MacAlyson Court in Cary on December 5th at about 10:34 PM. A black male entered the lobby and asked for room rates. The suspect left and returned a moment later wearing a mask on and carrying a shotgun. He demanded money from the clerk who ran out the back of the hotel; the suspect fled the scene.

ROBERRY 2: La Quinta Inn at 191 Crescent Commons Drive on December 5th at about 10:43 PM. A black male about 6 feet tall, 180-200 lbs., wearing a black sweater, black jeans, and brown work boots entered the lobby, spoke in a normal tones and asked about room rates. He left and returned a moment later wearing a black toboggan that had a one-inch wide yellow stripe around its base. The toboggan was covering his head but not his face. He pointed a shotgun at the clerk and demanded money. After receiving the money, he left via a waiting vehicle.

ROBBERY 3: Handee Hugo’s at 102 Gregson Drive on December 6th at about 2:30 AM. The clerk noticed two black males on the phone outside of the store. One of the subjects came in and made a purchase. The other suspect came to the counter and pointed a shotgun at the clerk and demanded money. They took the money and fled in a dark colored, older model small compact vehicle that had been parked beside the phone.

Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the individual responsible for this crime.
