CARY MLK DREAMFEST 99 TO CLOSE WITH SEVERAL EVENTS SATURDAY

Citizens committed to racial harmony can join together in a march that ends at the site of the cultural celebration. This activity is designed to commemorate the non-violent means of protest used during the civil rights movement.
DREAM OF COMMUNITY CULTURAL CELETRATION
Noon-6:00 PM, Cary High School campus
C.T. Viviant, a nationally known civil rights leader, will deliver the keynote address on this exciting day of activities demonstrating the rich variety of ethnic, racial, and religious traditions of Cary citizens. Featured will be a showcase of professional and amateur performers, exhibits, unique products, and delicious food available from vendors, and hands-on activities for preschoolers and young children.
