WITNESSES SOUGHT IN FATAL CAR CRASH

CARY, NC – Cary Police need to hear from anyone who witnessed a fatal car crash in downtown Cary this morning at the corner of Chapel Hill Road/NC HWY 54 and North Harrison Avenue. The collision occurred around 6:00 AM between a 1995, dark-colored Dodge Ram van and a 1987, light-colored Nissan Sentra. One of the vehicles failed to yield the right-of-way, and the driver of the van was thrown from his vehicle. He later died from his injuries.

Police need anyone who witnessed the incident to call the Cary Police Department at 469-4012 as soon as possible to corroborate or refute the other driver’s account of the crash.
