Reward Offered for Wanted Men

REWARD OFFERED FOR WANTED MEN
CARY -- A reward is being offered for help in locating two men wanted in connection with several area crimes. Cary Crimestoppers, in cooperation with the Town of Cary, will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the apprehension of Jimmy Louis Whitfield, 44, of Sagefield Way in Henderson, NC and Roderick Donnell Hill, 28, of 2616 Landis Street, Raleigh, NC.
Whitfield is a black male, 6 tall, 200 lbs, with brown eyes, black hair, and a dark complexion. He is wanted for Friday nights armed robbery of the Cary Lowes on Walnut Street.
Hill is also a black male, 6 tall, 165 lbs. He is a suspect in two recent burglaries at Heater Utilities in Cary. He is also wanted for possession of a stolen vehicle and for assaulting a law enforcement officer. On June 18th, Hill was stopped for a traffic infraction at 1800 N. Harrison Avenue. Hill tried to run over an officer while fleeing arrest, wrecked his stolen car, and escaped on foot.
"We believe that both men are dangerous and still in the area," said Cary Police Investigator George Daniels.
