MORE INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON HARRIS TEETER ASSAULT

CARY, NC -- Cary Police now have surveillance video of a man suspected in a recent assault case outside Harris Teeter off Kildaire Farm Road. On March 2nd at approximately 8:35 PM, a 23 year old white female was assaulted by a man as she was walking to her car at Harris Teeter in the Crescent Commons Shopping Center. It appears that the suspect followed her out of the store. He is a black male, 25 to 35 years of age, 5’ 9" tall, 160 lbs. He was last seen running around the back of the building wearing a turquoise sweater and blue jeans.

"We’re hoping that once the video is made public, people in the area of this crime can help us solve it very quickly," said Detective Randy Byrd of the Cary Police Department.

Cary Crimestoppers, in cooperation with the Town of Cary, continues to offer up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the individual responsible for this crime.
