RAILROAD CROSSING BLOCKED IN CARY

CARY, NC -- Railroad crossing arms are down and blocking traffic on Southeast Maynard Road at East Chatham Street in Cary. Traffic is very congested, and motorists should avoid this area. The arms have been down for at least two hours, and it is not clear when the Railroad will be able to resolve the situation.

Cary Police suggest that motorists use alternate routes throughout the evening to avoid long delays.
