Adopted Budget for Fiscal Year 2012

The Cary Town Council was officially presented the Manager’s Recommended Fiscal Year 2012 Budget at its regular meeting on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Fiscal Year 2012 covers the time period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. The Town of Cary’s annual budget is a work and financial plan designed to implement the Town Council’s vision for the community as articulated in the organization’s mission statement and goals and initiatives

The Manager’s Recommended Budget, including the changes approved by Council, was adopted by the Town Council on June 30, 2011.

Budget at a Glance

Property Tax Rate

33 cents per $100 of property valuation (same as FY 2011)

Sanitation Fee

$14.00 per month (same as FY 2011)

Utility Rates

Increase of 5.9% for a residential customer using 7,000 gallons per month (see the detail utility rates by tier)
